My background is in digital marketing and advertising. I have worked with clients such as Bic, Mercedes-Benz, Schwarzkopf and Hasbro to name a few. My skills include design, digital strategy and project management expertise, I relish a challenge no matter how big or small.

My background in marketing & business gives me a great insight, having sat both sides of the table as a buyer and an agency.

I have always been passionate about design and studied my Degree in Visual Communications at Birmingham City University. As a creative graphic and concept designer, I am passionate about achieving effective results to bring products and services to life.

User Centred Design

User Centred Design is a design philosophy and a process in which:

The needs, wants, and limitations of end users of a product are given extensive attention at each stage of the design process. The concept was formed by HCI academics to facilitate developing better desktop software. During the late 90's Jakob Nielsen, Donald Norman and other academics created a list of best
practices which gradually evolved into web UCD principles. It has since been adopted within the design process with companies such as Google, Microsoft and Apple using the process. The Bareface Media web development team are trained and highly experience in User Centred Design. Our philosophy is that each project provides an intuitive and effective user experience, our Web design and consultancy department work hand-in-hand to deliver:
  • Extensive strategy and feasibility phases
  • Technology Analysis
  • Wire framing and 'live' user testing
  • Eye tracking analysis on prototypes
  • Focus groups and stakeholder interviews
  • Web analytics insight
  • Continued UXO User Experience Optimisation (for continuous optimisation)
